The Diputació de Barcelona’s Department of Equality and Citizenship is supporting the Network of Cities and Towns for New Usage of Time, within the framework of its responsibility for providing municipal support, and with the firm conviction that now is the time to reflect together on this area of local policy. In order to promote and to take advantage of all of the potential of this land and its resources as a whole, this network must be managed, but it must also be managed “in network.” Local community co-operation, co-operation between institutions, and co-operation with social agents must be the basic tools and foundation of activity in managing this network.
