| Barcelona, the city of time for people |

The City Council promotes various time use measures, such as developing a network of companies that are reorganising working time, to contribute to people's welfare and boost their competitiveness , and the "Neighbourhood Time. Shared Education Time" programme, to help families balance their time.

| We open courtyards in Easter |
|
| Courtyards of the schools that participate on the internet of the Time neighbourhood programme, shared educational time, a total of 28 courtyards, will open its doors for everybody during the period of Easter vacations, between on 29 March and 5 April. |

| Tuesday 16 March saw the Cerdà Year Coordination Office begin its distribution of books round Eixample's neighbourhoods as part of a new initiative celebrating the 150th anniversary of the official approval given to the Cerdà Plan for expanding the city. Between now and the 30 April, 150 books will be appearing in various locations of that Barcelona district, a practice known as "bookcrossing" that is being announced on the Cerdà Year website.
